Prizes

The prizes per category are as follows:

K1. Entrepreneurship for Students of Secondary Education

First Prize:

  • €2000
  • (if applicable) a commemorative plaque to the team mentor,
  • (if applicable) a commemorative flag for the school to which the team belongs, and
  • selection of a scholarship per team member from the list of available undergraduate scholarships

Second Prize:

  • €1000
  • (if applicable) a commemorative plaque to the team mentor,
  • (if applicable) a commemorative flag for the school to which the team belongs, and
  • selection of a scholarship per team member from the list of available undergraduate scholarships

Third Prize:

  • €500
  • (if applicable) a commemorative plaque to the team mentor,
  • (if applicable) a commemorative flag for the school to which the team belongs, and
  • selection of a scholarship per team member from the list of available undergraduate scholarships

Please note that winners will choose from the available scholarships in strict order of priority set by the order of their ranking and the scholarships will be depending on availability.

Κ2. Entrepreneurship for Students of Tertiary Education

First Prize:

  • €3000
  • (if applicable) a commemorative plaque to the team mentor,
  • (if applicable) a commemorative flag for the university to which the team belongs,
  • selection of a scholarship per team member from the list of available postgraduate scholarships
  • a grant for participation in an entrepreneurship / innovation seminar for €2,000 which shall be subject to the prior approval of the Digital Champion.

Second Prize:

  • €1500
  • (if applicable) a commemorative plaque to the team mentor,
  • (if applicable) a commemorative flag for the university to which the team belongs,
  • selection of a scholarship per team member from the list of available postgraduate scholarships

Third Prize:

  • €1000
  • (if applicable) a commemorative plaque to the team mentor,
  • (if applicable) a commemorative flag for the university to which the team belongs,
  • selection of a scholarship per team member from the list of available postgraduate scholarships

Κ3. Business Entrepreneurship

First Prize:

  • €10000, and
  • possibility of free participation in business support infrastructure (co-working spaces, accelerators, incubators) depending on availability.

Second Prize:

  • €5000 and
  • possibility of free participation in business support infrastructure (co-working spaces, accelerators, incubators) depending on availability.

Third Prize:

  • €2000 and
  • possibility of free participation in business support infrastructure (co-working spaces, accelerators, incubators) depending on availability.

Special Prizes

The Digital Champion may decide to award special prizes to proposals that will excel (from any category) in the following areas:

  • €2,000 for the «Internationally Oriented Enterprise», to emphasize the international dimension of the Competition and the synergies created by other initiatives as well as the importance of internationalization.
  • €2,000 for the best proposal on «Artificial Intelligence for Humans and the Society».
  • €2,000 for the best proposal on «Social Entrepreneurship[1]»

Furthermore, the platinum sponsors of the competition, in collaboration with the Organizing Committee, will award a special prize to a special category. In the event that no team falls under the category for the award of the special prize, or if entries do not meet the jury criteria to a sufficient extent (see the evaluation criteria in Annex IV) then the special prize is voided.

It should be noted that in the event where a prize (either a prize in a specific category or the special prize) is not accepted by the winners, the Digital Champion has the right to award it to the participants next-in-line. The Digital Champion also retains the right to award the contestants in order of rank, if there are scholarships available. Prizes are personal, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for money or other awards.
