Championship Categories

The Digital Championship has three categories:

  • K1. Entrepreneurship for Students in Secondary Education
  • Κ2. Entrepreneurship for Students in Tertiary Education
  • Κ3. Business Entrepreneurship

The purpose of the Digital Championship is to be achieved by:

  • providing specialized seminars to support the development of innovative models, prototypes, digital products or services (depending on the category of participants); and
  • awarding the distinguished proposals in each category.

In particular, the following are expected to be achieved for each category:

Κ1. Entrepreneurship for Students in Secondary Education:
Students should:

  • learn about the subject-content of the Digital Agenda,
  • develop an innovative model (mockup prototype [3]) for a digital product/service based on the Digital Agenda.

Κ2. Entrepreneurship for Students in Tertiary Education:
Young entrepreneurs should:

  • learn about the subject-content of the Digital Agenda,
  • develop an innovative functional prototype (working prototype) for a digital product/service based on the Digital Agenda.

Κ3. Business Entrepreneurship:
Participants should:

  • learn about the subject-content of the Digital Agenda,
  • develop a complete, innovative digital product or service based on the Digital Agenda,
  • submit a business plan,
  • promote the digital product or service on the market.

[3] The mockup prototype contains all the information needed about how the final product should look like. For example, if the proposal is for the development of a mobile application, then the mockup prototype will include the design of all screens and will describe the functionality of each item (eg. what each button does)
